Shipping Instructions
Before shipping items for service:
- BACKUP ALL IMPORTANT DATA!!
- Record your model and serial number in a safe place.
- Include a detailed list of all items being shipped.
- Include contact information; a name, phone number and return address.
- Include a concise description of the symptoms you have experienced.
- Include a photocopy of any warranty paperwork necessary.
- Include any special repair or return shipment instructions.
When you talk to a technician, record the following:
- The technician's name.
- The time and date the conversation took place.
- A brief description of what was discussed.
Miscellaneous:
- A diagnostic fee will apply to any repairs not completed.
- Shipping and handling charges apply to all items.
- Please make sure you have packed your computer well.
- Always use the original computer box, if available.
- Use bubble wrap or other suitable packing material.
- Allow at least three inches of packing material around the computer.
