Shipping Instructions

Before shipping items for service: 

  • BACKUP ALL IMPORTANT DATA!!
  • Record your model and serial number in a safe place.
  • Include a detailed list of all items being shipped.
  • Include contact information; a name, phone number and return address.
  • Include a concise description of the symptoms you have experienced.
  • Include a photocopy of any warranty paperwork necessary.
  • Include any special repair or return shipment instructions.


When you talk to a technician, record the following:

  • The technician's name.
  • The time and date the conversation took place.
  • A brief description of what was discussed.


Miscellaneous:

  • A diagnostic fee will apply to any repairs not completed.
  • Shipping and handling charges apply to all items.
  • Please make sure you have packed your computer well.
  • Always use the original computer box, if available.
  • Use bubble wrap or other suitable packing material.
  • Allow at least three inches of packing material around the computer.
